This is an exceptional video that addresses the core issues of the Truth movement and the great deception that is being foisted upon us. I encourage you to check out these videos and truly wrestle with the points raised.

Was the Bible Changed by the Illuminati?

This is a very good discussion of this topic, a subject that has been raised frequently as the Illuminati and the New World Order are coming into view.

'Noah's Ark' found in Turkey...Video!

Poca's picture

THE remains of Noah's Ark have been discovered 13,000ft up a Turkish mountain, it has been claimed.
A group of Chinese and Turkish evangelical explorers say they have found wooden remains on Mount Ararat in eastern Turkey. They claim carbon dating proves the relics are 4,800 years old — around the same time the ark was said to be afloat.

Sinners in the hands of an angry God - Jonathon Edwards

BigT's picture

Often said to be the most powerful sermon ever preached on American soil, this sermon, "Sinners in the hands of an angry God" by Jonathon Edwards was preached during the 1700s in Virginia before the time of the American Revolution.
It is a classic "fire and brimstone" type of sermon, and if you like old-tyme sermons, you'll love this one.
It's a classic masterpiece, and very famous, and if you have interest in things like this, it is one that everyone should be familiar with. It's about 45 minutes long.

You can download it for free at this link:
http://thefivesolas.us/wordpress/?page_id=169

Just go to that link, and click on the RED headline "Sinners in the hands of an angry God", which is also underlined. That will begin a download for you.
It's a long download(big file), and will take a long time if you're on dial up.
But it's well worth it.

Bible Study Notes

Khomar's picture

I'm not sure if this is going to be a recurring thread, but I thought I would start a section for just general thoughts in Bible study -- especially in how they relate to current times.

I was reading the following passage this morning that jumped out to me:

In the meantime, when so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.

"I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him! "

Pre-Tribulation Rapture

Why I can’t believe in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

The most popular theory in Christian circles today is that the Great Tribulation, the reign of the anti-Christ or “the beast”, will be immediately preceded by a “rapture” of all of the Christians in the world thus signifying the beginning of the wrath of God. I too once held this belief, but I have begun to question a lot of the End Times prophesies as I have reading and re-reading the New Testament. I can no longer see adequate Biblical proof to support a pre-tribulation rapture, and the evidence is quite strong for a rapture that takes place at or near the end of the tribulation.

Where does the pre-tribulation theory come from?

Before I go into why I do not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, it is important to consider where this idea came from. Here are two of the primary passages used to support a pre-tribulation rapture:

Terrorism and the Fleecing of the Faithful

First of all, Thank you Khomar for providing this site where we can discuss and share many topics that are necessary for understanding this insanity all around us! As Chief had commented on the other thread "We are at the two minute warning!" Yes, it sure feels that way!

Here is an article that I would not be able to post on DP but I would like to share it here. This explores a little about the hijacking of Christianity by the Zionist movement. I'll start with the question and then jump to the conclusion of the article as the teaser for it!

Gog and Magog

One popular interpretation of Biblical scripture today is that Iran and Russia will invade Israel and will be miraculously delivered by God by their planes being knocked out of the sky by fire from heaven. This theory was made popular in the Christian world by the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins (for an interesting connection to Tim LaHaye, check out this post regarding his affiliations).

The theory is based on the following passage from Ezekiel 38:

Biblical End Times (Overview)

Khomar's picture

I will try to go into more detail later, but for now, I want to do a quick overview of what the Bible has to say about the End Times. I would also like to point out that my views are not the mainstream Christian views of the end times. While I disagree with many commonly taught points, I do not hold a dogmatic position on prophetic fulfillment because all too often we do not really understand until after the fact (if even then).

First, the most notable thing is how little it actually says through most of the New Testament. There are only a few select passages, and outside of the book of Revelation, most of the New Testament is focused on how we should live and other doctrinal issues regarding who Jesus Christ is. Revelations itself is a very difficult book to interpret, and it is unlikely that anyone really understands what it is saying.

Perhaps some of the
