I have no remembrance of why I started studying Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, no one was dying, but I took up an interest in K-R's study on death and dying about 20 years ago. Kübler-Ross is credited with starting what we now know as "Hospice". I thought I would share a clippet from a Vanity Fair I saved because it brings me comfort.
So you understand the context of the clip, to set the stage: Manny and Elisabeth were married and had one child, Barbara. Manny and Elisabeth divorced but remained good friends. Manny remarried to an unnamed woman and Elisabeth went on to marry Ken. Manny was taken care of on his deathbed by Elisabeth.
I hope this little article brings you some comfort that this sucky place is not all there is. Love y'all.
