How long are you going to wait to go tell all the DP'ers who first wanted to get Debra Medina on Beck, then defended the interview as "well at least her name is out and Beck is exposed"...I told you so for the rant that Jones went on today?
If you didn't catch it he finally heard the interview where she agreed with the host that basically truthers were despicable. He's pissed off because the campaign reached out to him, knowing that he is Mr. 9/11, then in his words threw them all under the bus and flip-flopped under a little bit of political pressure. He said he felt betrayed and was withdrawing his support for her. He probably just lost her a huge portion of her votes still left out that there haven't already cast a ballot.
It all started because people thought Beck could be trusted and was a fellow traveler.
How sad and short-sighted.
If I was in Texas I'd still be voting for her because she's still the best candidate with a fantastic platform. Also, Perry and Hutchison are beyond terrible. So many people are going to be heart broken and pissed by that rant and even though they may pull back their support I hope they do still go and vote for her. I must defend Jones' right to do this, even though it should have either happened a week or so ago when the interview happened, or should have held off until after the election. It's why politics is bullshit, people always feel like they have to get bent in half trying to spin when they get attacked. People love Ron Paul because he stands firm no matter what.

I like Octobox.
If you take the time to understand where he is coming from. I do believe he holds one of the keys to getting us out of our current mess.
Octo's problem is that he, like others, tends to really ramp up the 5-dollar words in an attempt to sound more authoritive.
What he actually does is make his audience click on another link because he comes off as too stuffy to possibly have any fresh ideas.
At the root of Octo's ideas is starving off the governemnt by becoming self-sufficient. A barter economy, rooted in civil disobedience, that pays little or no taxes in thier everyday life.
This is already starting en-masse and growing daily.
Which is something that isn't readily apparent when you read Octo's posts.
The best writers of all take the time to relay thier ideas and mental pictures in words that everyone not only understands, but uses daily. They make the idea comfortable, not something that pinches us while we struggle to fit a paragraph into our heads.
Octo sucks at that... lol.

All I had wanted to do was point out that his idea was horrible. I think people have figured it out now.
Pity that they didn't figure it out before. The 1/2 Beck/Jones combo will kill her chances. So there is no reason to kick poor Jefferson around anymore... it is too late for others to learn from it and I didn't really get any giggles from it either.

Hispanics are, for the first time in like EVER, leaning conservative. However, they don't want to seem too ~loco~ by the rest of Texas... they want to be looked on as a respectable movement.

It's the reaction over Jones that baffles me. I didn't realize how many people literally goose step to everything he says.
I ask again, to nobody in particular, where was all the outrage when the interview actually aired? There was some, but not much. Once Jones went off on her, and I think you probably disagree with my position on the "why" somewhat, all these people decided to get pissed off and do something. It also seemed to pull out of the woodwork people that were just waiting for the sole purpose of viciously attacking 9/11 truthers.
Now what has boggled me the most is how few on either side realizes how much they need each other but neither side is willing to look at things from the others perspective. There doesn't need to be a compromise, but there does need to be an understanding. As vile as I think that crunchy guy on the DP has been he's right about one thing. You get liberty candidates elected and THEN you get them to talk about 9/11. Even though it is a majority opinion that the official story is crap, most people don't realize it and are so conditioned that they don't want to be seen as going against the grain.
You have also been right to say that we shouldn't look to governments for answers. That's another bit of conditioning that needs to be overcome. Too many people believe the government is where all things emanate from and therefor must be considered in the equation. They fail to realize that a group of criminals with so much power will inherently fight to keep that power and will quickly sacrifice the truth to perpetuate their lies.
But back on Medina, I sure hope she wins. I want her to win even more now so that people can see that they need to stop looking to the pied pipers of the world to lead them around. People need to start thinking for themselves and not react only when their favorite bobble head tells them to. We should be happy to take their information they give us, but caution ourselves when we start to adopt their opinions.

I met her at CPAC this past weekend.. She knows Alex and people where he is from.. not many are real keen on the guy.
I stand with Devon.. Alex is a Zionist gatekeeper just like Beck. It shows by the way he approaches the subject. You can't scream and force anything down peoples throat.. Most will automatically shut you out.. Alex is the pied piper leading the ones who will stand out.. Yet he never endorses people getting active politically and taking control through the system. Candidates on the show isn't the same.
We had infiltrated CPAC and had signs ready to smear beck this weekend.. As soon as I heard that Ron had won the straw poll it became clear that retaliation isn't the way to win. Fox news would have had more reason to dog the results that CPAC wasn't conservative any longer.
Alex Jones would have been in favor of what we were doing.. Ron Paul said he would denounce it. We stood down at the last moment because we had won the straw poll and all that hard work time spent and places traveled passing out slim jims and taking flack for 3 years would have been negated in less than 5 minutes were we to "Alex Jones" approach the situation.
Alex Jones tactics are childish.. I'm growing the hell up.

I'm pretty sure Devon wouldn't call him a Zionist Gatekeeper...just a gatekeeper, and that's a pretty open ended statement. When you start adding prefaces to a particular label you run the risk of moving further from the truth. You and I have tangled over the Zionist angle multiple times.
Also it's incorrect to say he never endorses people getting active and trying to infiltrate the system. In fact that actually a very silly thing to say. In fact he just said, as I type, go out and speak out against fluoride, go take back your counties and local governments and get active. I really don't know how you can make this statement because it just doesn't stand up.
I do agree that his style is tiresome. He has become a very "world revolves around me" person who sacrifices the little steps to try to make the big leaps. He is bellicose, belligerent, and belittles his callers always asking them "DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!!!11111". It's almost, or maybe it has become a form of mania. Is it because he's been doing it for 15 years or whatever and has forgotten what got him there? Or is he a covert agent that was implanted as a Manchurian to lead people to wrack and ruin? I find myself only able to listen to maybe 1/4 of a show anymore. I tune in to see if anything new has happened then tune out and go do other things.
This is why I totally don't get the notion that I am a Jones worshiper, and this isn't a stab at you Cougar. I welcome his information, the movies are interesting, and the guests he has on are usually very insightful. But that's it. I don't suckle at his tit, I didn't fly into a rage over this Medina thing, I don't hang on his every word. Devon says he's alive for a reason. I for one do believe that the reason is because he is a gatekeeper, but in a different sense. He is allowed to continue because he is the clarion of the old Roman civil order. He is there to tell the people about the behind the scenes actions, expose the plans, and to expose what is coming because then when it comes the PTB can say you were duly informed and warned. He is the guy standing in the old Roman Forum reciting the actions of the Senate and Caesars. That man, was privy to a lot of information and was allowed to live as long as he served their purpose. Jones will most likely be taken out when he no longer serves the PTB purpose, night of the long knives style.
How am I getting involved locally? I'm not. I'm not going to ever run for anything, I'm not doing anything except for not refusing to talk to people about what's going on in the world. I have no interest or desire to do anything politically even though dozens and dozens of people tell me I should. I'm glad for you that you have that drive and it's great that you are out doing it. But don't hit people over the head with it, some of us just don't want to do it. You can think less of me for my stance, and that's your right, but it's just not my game. Just as I don't work more than I need to pay my bills. Why? Because I don't want to play in their system. So if more people like you that have the drive to go out and do things start moving things in a favorable direction I will follow. I feel like someone that has mentally gone to Galt's Gulch...I have no desire to participate in this society, all I want is to learn more and more and more and get the biggest picture of the world that I can. It's all that interests me. As John Galt says to Dagny, we will be back when the lights of New York City go out. Call me a quitter or whatever but I'm not giving anything more than my minimum to the machine. I'll vote in some elections, not all. I'm trying hard to move to a non-grid dependent life. I'm not participating in the economy except by buying from as many local or self owned businesses.
You can believe though, that if things go completely South, I will be present on the battlefield.

I know he does, I'm not disputing that. He makes a living scaring people half to death by making predictions that he acts like are coming the very next day when they don't come for maybe 6 months. But they do come...and you have to respect that.
I don't want a bloody revolution, it's the furthest thing from my list of desires.
But I am also not built for the public. I am a solitary individual who is happy to be left in peace. It's just who I am.
Things change though, so I won't say that I would never become a full timer. But I am a part-part timer, I am fulfilling A role. I am not just sitting around doing absolutely nothing. Yes i will admit i am not quite the news hound that some of you are. I indeed found out through AJ. I do not accept what AJ says as gospel but i do take great offense to what SHE said. Clarification are on that post in which i was attacked ...perhaps justifiably...but i think i make my point.
Well, I have little positive to say about the way most of the Medina people on FB handled themselves. I had a couple posts deleted by the mods because I dared to point out to the people yelling "TROLL TROLL" or "THESE PEOPLE ARE FROM PERRY" at everything, that people really were upset. I tried to point out that people hate when you say one thing to one group and something else to another and I had my posts deleted...which if you are trying to save face and do damage control about a subject that revolves around transparency and honesty..,deleting people's posts is the last thing you really should be doing unless they are profane or threatening(I guess).
I ran into these same kinds of people on John Kasich's(running for governor in Ohio) page too. If you disagreed or asked questions like "Does John support torture or interventionist wars"? I got told that I didn't belong and that I was a liberal douchebag or whatever.
This is what happens in team sports though...I should know I live in the heart of the greatest college football rivalry. Wear a Michigan shirt downtown and you risk getting your ass kicked. I think the entire world has rabies.
