Okay.. Where is it written that I have to live my life explaining to people who don't care what freedom truly is when it involves me being on the short end of the stick involving friends, family, and work.

I get it.. People don't care, morals are a ideal in a history book for the most part in America.

What I'm trying to say is this. I don't mind becoming a martyr for Freedom and all that it entails... I just don't want to die so someone else can hide behind their fear and or greed.

Yeah I'm right - I've learned from some of the best being you guys and Dr. Paul as well as the people who proceeded me like the founding fathers who expounded on true freedom and fought with their lives for it.

I know freedom.. I don't have it.. Knowing it tho.. what has that gotten me in this life besides a sense of self pride and minimal respect.. ask yourself that..

Here is a positive thought.

I will not live in fear or worry about loosing freedom that is already lost and which I've never really had.. It's like holding on to a worn out relation ship.

People around me have already firmly planted their heads in the sand. It's time for me to let them get their ass kicked.

I'm creating my reality.. Who I choose to let into it will be the people who need it most. Hell with the others. It's tough love Cougar.. =}

I will however begin to live as a free man.. LOL it will involve breaking some laws tho..

I'm glad to hear y'all talking like this. I'm so sick of the posers. They're everywhere.

I've dropped down into f-it mode and have begun to unleash my "bull in a china shop" smackdowns on the SC OK's forum. Once again I've stunned the crowd and manage to remain in "social timeout". My group is...is...is "SouthCarolina-ish". That's all I'm sayin'. I think because I'm civilian and female, I'm mostly ignored.

But we can't have that ;)

I have never seen so many threads started by people who are just wanting to give up.

They see everyone as selfish individuals who only care about themselves and unable to see what is going on in the world around them.

Everything these people have hoped and dreamed of is gone. Some of them are living in conditions, we would not even wish upon our enemies.

I fear hope is fast diminishing in our country, and it makes me very sad. On the other hand, I really can't see a way out of this mess we've gotten ourselves into.

The world must be given over to those who wish to control it so that they may destroy themselves and save us in the process. There is no scenario in which a lot of us aren't going to die. So I guess what people are figuring out is the question of what will your death be used for or symbolize.

As for Cloward-Piven, there is no other alternative. The progressive left and the neo-con right are the very same group and are after the very same thing which is radical revolution. That's why I said it's like Atlas. Rand came from a communist country where this had already happened and she understood how it would go down in this country. You absolutely need to read the book if you haven't already because it's just so damn spot on. I guess if you don't have time to read a 1300(?) page book just read Galt's radio address you will get the gist I guess, though it of course wouldn't be nearly the same. The book isn't going to shift your thinking, or at least not by too much. It's just one of those things that needs to be experienced in life.
