12 dead, dozens injured in Texas military base shooting

Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan, believed to be about 40 years old, was being identified as a gunman after the massacre at Fort Hood, the largest military base in the United States.
The Virginia Board of Medicine told CNN that Hasan served in the army as a doctor who helped others deal with mental health issues.
Hasan was unhappy about his scheduled deployment to Iraq, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson told CNN.
The gunman, who had reportedly been armed with two handguns, was killed and two other suspects were in custody following the shooting, base commander Lt.-Gen. Bob Cone said.
The shooting left another 31 people injured.
Cone said that all three suspects were soldiers. The shooting unfolded around 1:30 p.m. local time.
Interesting turn of events, I knew when they said the shooter was still alive that he wouldn't be for long OR he'll be a vegetable.... this world is never boring :>P
I was trying to document exactly how all of this went.
First the shotter was dead, then he was alive in stable condition. Now he is in a coma with a ventalator. It seems that there was at first 3 shooters with pistols, now there is 1. Seems our army is scrambling some facts around on how exactly to cover all of this mess.
