Jim Traficant has always been a bit of an enigma to me. At times he comes across as a stalwart defender of workers and investors, and other times as a bit of a collectivist moon-bat. His greatest redeeming quality still has to be that great hair!
True enough, but he unsettles the establishment which is a good thing, in my opinion. :-)
I definitely have my disagreements with Traficant, but at least he seems to be someone who stands up for truth and justice. And we need more people like that in Washington, even if their political views do not line up with ours. If we can start at the same point on law and integrity, then we can have a meaningful debate on government policies.
