In the meanwhile, opposition is mounting on the Canadian side and more than 1,000 people have signed up for a Moon the Balloon protest in Sarnia's Centennial Park on Aug. 15.
I miss Canada sometimes... :)

I went to Colorado in the late 90's to work with my dad for a bit when he was transitioning to retire from his business. When there I found myself with a girlfriend and had no way of explaining to her my family, much less thier friends, which are a mixture of Portuguese, Canadian and others.
The first time I brought her to meet the family there was a big party going on... we walked up the driveway past the ~fancy cars~ to the pool. The minute we stepped into the backyard, she was presented with a dozen or so white butts. Moonings!
She took it well and the night turned out fun, but I had to explain to her the reason behind it, in thier view... you've already seen our asses, so whatever else happens, it's OK.
