From the size and apparent color scheme of the image, I first thought that it might be the Bonnie Blue, but your Palmetto Pennant makes much more sense. Senator DeMint's choice also expresses the proper confederal nature of his allegiances, and has the added advantage of being even more specific than the flag of the late lamented Republic of West Florida.
