Thank you so much for the hard work. (And it is hard work... I had to clean up a similar attack the other day.)
We were on vacation, so I didn't have the ability to do cleanup here like usual.
I finally did what I probably should have done a long time ago -- disabled the ability to automatically create a new user account. If a new user wants to sign in, they have to get administrator approval. We have not had a new legitimate user in a very long time, so it just makes sense at this point -- at least until I can figure out a better system.
Kinda funny, but in an odd way. Not a laughing matter... just sad.
Well, I found a job, but it sux. This mega corporation wants to pay slave wages for my slave labor. I hate it. Never liked shopping there in the first place, cause they over charge for everything. Big time. The sad part is that they used to be a great place to work until the management and the union made a deal some years ago. Now it just sux. I'm looking for something else. I don't think I'll even give them any notice when I quit. I'm just going to walk away. Hey, you get what you pay for. Know what I mean?

I remember the golden days of HP/LLF and long for them, I am back on facebook partly to the disconnected feeling. But don't get me wrong I liked it before but everything changes, I am glad you and the others are still here in whatever role. Its good to here things are a bit better, I have thought about you two and wonderd how you were. I like this venue better than facebook so I will use it as well, it serves as a fourm for more intimate public conversation, if that makes sence.
Well, last night was my final night at the job from hell. They were slowly killing me. The silver lining to that dark cloud was I lost 5 pounds. But I also lost 3 weeks of my life that I'll never get back. It ended well, though. I gave them 1 day's notice that I was quitting, and lots of people wished me well and said to come back to see them. I thought that was really sweet. They're actually pretty used to folks coming and going a lot around there. I'd think management would realize that they have a problem, wouldn't you? Anyway, tomorrow I start a new job. As a matter of fact, both hubby & I got a job at the same place - a local toy store. So I guess we'll be kinda like Santa & Mrs. Claus. Lol! :) And we'll get to carpool - which is a good thing. So all in all, things are getting better. What's going on with you, orabox? How's life treating you?

Great to here you are leaving that place, I hope and santa have a good run with the toys. I dont know how I am doing, I could say fine, sucks, whatever, but truth is I am not sure how I am. I have been reading alot of G.I Gurdjeff and that has my head recalculating, cant wait for the pause after asamilation. Been on facebook, see some of the old crowd, not sure who they are yet, but it is interesting seeing my old life my new life and discusions like the ones we had here blend.
There are things I just do not want to talk about in that opened fourm, so I will post here.
Yesterday we had a grass roots fema drill, actually we had a fema convoy site-ing with a report that they were setting up camp in our city. Report was overblown but we did get to test our reaction time, 12 hrs to get to the bottom of it. Seems a few people in my area sited it and they both followed them out of town, I love my friends.
Agenda 21 is on the city council meeting tonight, cant wait to see that, I will update this later.
I have power issues, my battery bank is dead and I am trying to get enough $$ to replace so in the mean time I am on generator power.
Kinda lonely but not, good friends but the absence of a significant other in my life is new experience for me.
Good to see you two, thanks for the spam cleen up Khomar.
Good for you on reading Gurdjieff! I have found him difficult to read, but did come away with this quote from his book, Life is Real, Only Then When "I am", which, in my mind, seems to be a reasonable aspiration:
"If I should attain my self-imposed aims, and should still survive, then I would live with a definite program, as follows: one third of all my waking state I shall devote to pleasures of my own body; the second third, exclusively to those by that time remaining near to me, in spirit as well as well as in blood; and the third part to "science", that is, to all humanity."
Actually, that's kind of where I am at my present stage of life (possibly the final third or so). It's not a bad place to be in - maybe even a place that one could or should aspire to attain at any or all stages of one's life. But since life is a personal journey, that would be a choice better left to each individual. After all, it is said that the journey, more than the destination, is what is most important in a life, and so that path should be a personal choice. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the read!

You have an understanding of Gurdjeff, when I find a new rabbit hole some friend always has been around it. This time everyone did not know his name. We are connected, but we all knew that.
Well, I wouldn't really say that I have an understanding of him! I have always found him very difficult to read, so I haven't read all that much of him. Because I couIdn't get very far with it, I would really be interested in whatever you get from reading him, whenever you get a chance to tell me, that is. Btw, we are going to lose our cell phone service in a day or two. It's a luxury we can't afford for now. But we do plan on coming back to it at some point in the not too distant future. Until then, I'll try to keep in touch while we still have service and I hope you're still here whenever I can come back. It's been really great getting to know you all!

No drama on the cleanup. Actually, you probably missed the worst mess. I came on Sunday morning to see a huge mess of dozens of posts all over the site. Yuck. I think I need to look into upgrading the site to see if I can cut down on the amount of spam.
A bunch of Spam starting new topics. I couldn't delete them like a comment so I erased them. That's why there's a bunch of dots : D
Well Katherine? Did you get the job?
of you to ask, krmaya. But, unfortunately I have no good news to report yet on the job front. I'm putting in lots of applications though, so hopefully I'll find something soon.

Customers have been seeing higher banking fees and fewer rewards in the past year or so. The changes come as banks adjust to new regulations that will limit traditional revenue sources.
Those darn regulations make it so hard for a thief to make an honest living.
over at DP. Found it to be quite interesting.
Last week it quietly became public that 53 trillion in liabilities for Bank of America were being held in their depository institution and another 79 trillion is moving as well. Yes TRILLION. Compare that number to the 15 trillion dollars of crippling debt the United States has right now.
If the numbers themselves werent problematic enough, here is the biggie. Sit down before reading on. These liabilities (53 trillion & 79 trillion) being moved means they are now protected by the FDIC. You may be familiar with the Federal Depository Insurance Company already. It guarantees to the depositor to cover their loss in the event of theft or a bank default. You may remember our Congress upping the FDIC insured amount from $50,000 per account to $250,000, but you probably thought that was a good idea. Well, under FDIC our country becomes financially liable.

On my way to a job interview! I messed up on that online assessment yesterday. But if they aren't willing to give me a chance to show them what I can really do on the job, with all my past experience in that field, well I guess that's just their loss. They really put me through hoops yesterday, and I'm not sure I want to work for a place that treats their people like machines, anyway. I think the job that I'm interviewing for today is a bit more down to earth. I'll keep y'all posted! Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, y'all. I just know all those good vibes are what landed me this interview today! :)

Just wow. We just found out our preacher quit the church this morning. Doesn't that just figure? We really needed a church home! So I'm on the edge of my seat with this development. We weren't there this morning because we didn't have enough gas and we're almost out of cash (man, I've really got to find a job). I'm beginning to think I could write a soap opera about all the goings on lately.
They say he just threw up his hands and told everyone he had lost his faith, then said a few words about how he had failed as a leader and walked out. He hadn't said a word about it to anyone ahead of time. His two sons, who always participate in the service, either musically or as speakers, were both up front and their wives and children, along with the preacher's wife were all in the congregation. They were not all seated together, though. It seems there had been a family feud of sorts brewing within the family lately. Nevertheless, they all were shocked and surprised; stunned, you could say. This is the same man who had recently told us to "remember the miracles". He said that would help us to stay strong as our faith was being tested. And our faith has really been tested lately, right along side just about everyone else we know. We all counted on our pastor for strength and words of wisdom. I'm afraid that maybe we failed him, too.

Idk though. Maybe we were too needy. Maybe we should have been stronger in our faith, looking more to our Father in heaven through prayer more than we did, and less dependent on the "man of God". I just feel bad about him losing it like that. It's sad.

We don't have cable anymore & the same old headlines show for weeks at a time on my sprint vision news screen, so I really don't know. Did the market crash? I hope not.
Hey guys! I have super news, though! I got a call today about a job that I applied for! I have to do an assessment on line (at the library) tomorrow , as the next step in the application process. Wish me luck, or if you're so inclined, say a prayer for me, ok?

Must have happend yesterday but for the world of doom I believe it was a bit of a letdown. Some plannets align tonight and tomorrow will be much different after today. Kinda depressed about the non stock market crash but look forward to meeting ET on wendsday, hope that happens but gone through way to many EOTWAWKI events to be hopfull.
Tell ET that I made meteor meatballs and stellar brownies for the planetary alignment and his welcome to planet Earth. Dunno what a EOTWAWKI is, maybe you can explain.
Hope that job comes through for you, Katherine. Although I'm gonna get bashed for saying this, your husband needs to file for SS disability considering his condition. Also ran into a man who was taking Bentonite (they call it Mississippi Mud here) and swore to me that his diabetes disappeared after ingesting it daily.
Now, I'm not saying this is a cure, but he was swearing by this product. I'll check into it more for y'all if it helps.
That's something I'll definitely discuss with my husband. And btw, if anyone tries bashing you, just send em my way. I got your back, girl! :)
And isn't this disclosure day?
Of Aliens and Demons
The other day I got down on my knees and begged forgiveness for being full of anger and resentment about our circumstances. I asked for the anger to be taken from me and that God's love fill my heart instead. As I was praying, I heard footsteps scuffling across the rooftop over my head. I kid you not. It sounded to me as if a supernatural demon had been released and was being escorted from the premises.
Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the supernatural places.
That's my disclosure for the day.

Interesting thing, I have not had a full time connection for 3 years after working 10 years working on it and other corporate networks. Now I have a wireless adaptor and can check the net at will, sort of, and find nowhere interesting execpt here and glp.
The Calm Down threads were good for me, I have seen it before, so have you all. Opening the browser was like going home and seeing an argument between family and being at home. I dont think arguments, disagreements or mis-understandings are a bad thing, it does suck being involved/intangled in them but they pass.
I'm kind of in the same boat. I don't have a computer (we lost it and everything else when we lost our business), but I do have this "semi-smart" smart phone that I can access the internet with. I carry it everywhere, so I can check in here from time to time during each day. Btw, it's really good to see you here again! :)
I agree with you about the arguments. I hope as we have our differences here that we can still remain available to each other for discussions and as sounding boards for venting when we need to.

Phones of the last few years have not been able to handle hiddenplaces, or LLF. So now I am thinking about trying to get rid of the cell phone and have a data connection that does voice. we will see if I can pull it off.
Dude...last year I invested in a Smart Phone. It had all the bells and whistles including internet. One day my boss came through as I was waiting in the kitchen for food in order to deliver to a table and trying to catch up on FB messages and texts... he said "Everytime I see you Kathleen, you're on that thing. I can't even talk to you."
A few days later, while getting out the car (it was on my lap) it hit the ground and broke. It was like going through detox as I couldn't get to AT&T fast enough...when the sales people tried to talk me into another phone, I sat and thought about it for all of two seconds before saying..."Nah...I'm going old school"...Their eyes bugged out "WHAT?? THIS IS 2010!!! EVERYBODY HAS TO HAVE A SMART PHONE ARE THEY"RE LAME!"
I enjoyed yesterday too. Haveing a bad night, woke up feeling angry, alone and unloved. But I know that the only feeling that was true was angry, unfortunatly I dont do angry well, so all I want is a hug and that is un-available. all I have is my phone to ponder meeningless and often just plain wrong thoughts.Something inside me describes it as like being on the event horizon of a black hole, but what is that like, guess I can think about it when I hit send, but again my kingdom for a hug.
End msg:
I have become aware that I dont outwardly manafest my anger, seems if I am correct I redirect it to other things like frustration, disapointment or something like that. well I am actualy working to get intouch whith my anger, but I came from california so the early compliance training rendered by the state still resides whithin my thoughts.
wrap your toes over the sides; open your arms wide& look up, close your eyes and let go.free fall into nothing knowing that our true self is inside the abyss. cradeling you whith arms of love that hug your soul let it go my friend, let it go.
Try this instead. Lay upside down on a hill and look at the sky. Actually, autumn is a great time of year to do this! Pick a pretty day when the temperature is nice and the sky is bright blue with billowy white clouds. Check out the shapes in the clouds and watch them move across the sky, changing their shapes as they go. After a while, you will feel like you could fall into the SKY! It's a really awesome sensation and I imagine it's waaay better than fallling off a cliff! I hear that if you're in the city, it's also fun to do on a rooftop at night, though I've never tried it that way. Just remember to lay upside down, with your head lower than your feet, for the maximum effect. Then free fall into nothing, knowing that your true self is inside the abyss, cradeling you with arms of love that hug your soul. Let it go my friend, let it go. And you'll live to do it again another time. How cool is that?
Happy flying! :)

Geeze, has it been another month gone by already?
Try not to take it personally. Politics is a lying game. That's just the way it is! I thought everyone knew that. Even Ron Paul fibs. His newest ad, titled 'He Served', shows the picture of the good Doctor in his younger military days, and the caption reads "Ron Paul, Retired US Air Force", even though he never retired from the military. You can't take everything at face value in this world. You have to learn to think for yourself. Just sayin.

What the hell is wrong with you??? The problem with you and the rest of the people who tell people to calm down, is YOU! YOU --THE ONES WHO ARE TOO GOD DAMNED CALM!!
IF anything I applaud her anger/angst/frustration!! THAT IS WHAT IS MISSING FROM THIS NATION... A LOT MORE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT CALMING DOWN!!!
If only there were a hundred people like Kat who were not calm!! We would not only have a TRUE REVOLUTION, BUT A SUCCESSFUL ONE !!(personally I just want to find 10 who wont calm down)
This video shows what Americans all over this nation need to self realize... UNTIL THERE IS JUSTICE AND PUNISHMENT TO THESE SNAKES AND VIPERS WHO HAVE MURDERED THE JOY, HAPPINESS, AND LIFE FORCE OF MOST AMERICANS... THERE IS NO REAL REVOLUTION.
With that attitude, you'll be real lucky to find 10. You should remember that just because people don't think exactly like you do, that doesn't make them your enemy. That's part of the beauty of freedom. I think I'm going to start calling you Napoleon. It suits you.
Napoleon said, "Education must impart the same knowledge and the same principals to all individuals living in the same society, in order to create a single, uniform body, informed with one and the same understanding, and working for the common good on the basis of uniformity of views."
Not much room for individuality there.
Under Napolean's rule, it was said, "You go to a salon, there's a spy. You go a brothel, there is a spy. You go to a restaurant, there is a spy. Everywhere there are spies of the police. Everyone listens to what you say. It's impossible to express yourself unless Napoleon wants you to."
That is why I will call you Napoleon from now on. That is, until you can calm down and allow others the right to express themselves.
Good day, Napoleon.

Kat and those out there who are not afraid to speak up and voice their displeasure at injustices, etc. should not be told to calm down THEY SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED!
If they were encouraged their coalfires of anger/displeasure would fan into flames that would ignite others. Instead you (and others like you) enjoy putting water on those tender coals. You call it "helping!" and if anyone objects to your "helping" they are called a tyrant?
If that is your definition of a tyrant...
Then George Washington was a tyrant.
Thomas Jefferson was a tyrant.
John Adams was a tyrant
Paul Revere was a tyrant.
In fact all the founders were tyrants.(according to your logic)
Where would we be today if "those 56 tyrants" had calmed down?Instead they used their "tyrant skills" to start the MOST AMAZING NATION THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN IN AT LEAST 6000 YEARS!
“It does not take a majority to prevail but rather an irate, tireless minority, who keep on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men.” (Samuel Adams)
The thing about this forum that is different than DP is that people are ABLE TO VOICE THEIR ANGER/DISPLEASURE -- AND BE SUPPORTED IN THAT... perhaps even have (gasp) others join in! Do you know what that leads to?? SOLUTIONS! NEW IDEAS! TRUE REVOLUTION! The same creative passions that started this nation!
Do you think when the Sons of Liberty got together and were pissed off about the British being Thieves, Liars, and Hypocrites that they listened to any dissenting voices that told them to "calm down?" I THINK NOT! (if there were any, they were quickly branded a coward by their fellow countrymen/women, OR were kicked out of the group)
I don't want to run peoples lives, nor tell them what to do... If anything I just want those who are so scared of Confrontation(or whatever) to STOP telling those of us who ARE NOT SCARED to Calm Down. THAT'S IT.
that I can VOICE MY ANGER/DISPLEASURE, because I'm about to do JUST THAT.
I DID NOT call you a tyrant, I called you a LITTLE TYRANT. LITTLE as in SMALL MINDED and SHORT (because SHORT people are MEAN) and TYRANT as in LOUD, BOSSY and BIG MOUTHED.
As for the rest of your ridiculous BLATHER... I DON'T GIVE A RAT'S A$$ about your personal opinion, because you are a SMALL MINDED FOOL.
This is for YOU, Napoleon...
hehehe LMAO!!!
Short people got no reason
Short people got no reason
Short people got no reason
To live
They got little hands
Little eyes
They walk around
Tellin' great big lies
They got little noses
And tiny little teeth
They wear platform shoes
On their nasty little feet
Well, I don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
`Round here
Short people got nobody
Short people got nobody
Short people got nobody
To love
They got little baby legs
That stand so low
You got to pick em up
Just to say hello
They got little cars
That go beep, beep, beep
They got little voices
Goin' peep, peep, peep
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time
Well, I don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
'Round here

Some of my favorite people are short. But I am dead serious about the fact that I am sick of little (minded) Napoleon getting on MY CASE. He is a fool. He has NO IDEA about how to take on the REAL PROBLEM of our government, which is the fact that plutocratic sociopaths have somehow TAKEN OVER. He speaks only of the past. He must wake up to the present moment! This is not some bygone era in which a group of patriots chose to rebel against a tyranical government. This is a new era, an era in which we must awaken to the fact that a criminal cabal has taken over the government, itself! It's time he came out of his historical reverie and WOKE UP. It is not me who is the problem here. It is him and people like him who insist on looking the other way, instead of looking at the oppressive choke-hold the Koch brothers and ALEC have on our government. They have held us hostage long enough. Their stranglehold becomes even tighter every time they convince us that we should allow them to privatize our public policy or destroy a union or control a media outlet or buy off a congressman or take our social security or stomp out a new green power alternative or buy their way out of an ecological disaster or buy their way into new legislation which permits even more ecological catastrophy. I've had enough of his blathering and enough of his small mindedness.

I should have known
You have an understanding of Gurdjeff, when I find a new rabbit hole some friend always has been around it. This time everyone did not know his name. We are connected, but we all knew that.
!

That's very sweet
of you to ask, krmaya. But, unfortunately I have no good news to report yet on the job front. I'm putting in lots of applications though, so hopefully I'll find something soon.

My best
Wishes are heading your way. I am also on face book again you all are welcome to add me, I miss your conversations. http://facebook.com/orabox
I just had to share this article I saw today:
Bank of America to charge $5/month for debit cards
The part that got me was this:
Those darn regulations make it so hard for a thief to make an honest living.
I found this

Woot!!

Wow.

Exactly how did y'all fail him
When he's responsible for his own reality?
Good point.
Idk though. Maybe we were too needy. Maybe we should have been stronger in our faith, looking more to our Father in heaven through prayer more than we did, and less dependent on the "man of God". I just feel bad about him losing it like that. It's sad.

Well the only constant
Is change, "Change you can bring to the bank and they will steal it."
Remember we have a big week for the doom predictors.
Monday(today) market crash
Tuesday planetary alingment "changes everything"
Wendsday Alien disclosure
Thursday Solar flare and CME wipeing out the grid
Friday gather firewood
But in any event, whatever.
Lol
Thanks for the list. Believe it or not, it made me feel better about our present circumstances. I guess it's true that misery loves company. Should be interesting! Good luck everyone. Love y'all! :)
p.s. Momma used to say that we can choose to laugh or we can choose to cry about things. I guess I'll just choose to lol. :)

Something wonderfull
Must have happend yesterday but for the world of doom I believe it was a bit of a letdown. Some plannets align tonight and tomorrow will be much different after today. Kinda depressed about the non stock market crash but look forward to meeting ET on wendsday, hope that happens but gone through way to many EOTWAWKI events to be hopfull.
Prayers going your way.

Thanks for the information Kat.

The internet

My not so smart
Me: :)
Now I voice talk to people again.
woke up a few nights ago
Sent a txt to a friend.
Included msg:
What did they text back to you?
Go to the edge of the cliff
wrap your toes over the sides; open your arms wide& look up, close your eyes and let go.free fall into nothing knowing that our true self is inside the abyss. cradeling you whith arms of love that hug your soul let it go my friend, let it go.
Hey Orabox!

Just sayin.

Calm Down?? Calm Down??? You tell her to calm down???
Good luck with that, little tyrant.
Good day, Napoleon.

tyrant?? How is it Im being a tyrant?
THAT'S IT.
I'm so happy
that I can VOICE MY ANGER/DISPLEASURE, because I'm about to do JUST THAT.
I DID NOT call you a tyrant, I called you a LITTLE TYRANT.
LITTLE as in SMALL MINDED and SHORT (because SHORT people are MEAN) and TYRANT as in LOUD, BOSSY and BIG MOUTHED.
As for the rest of your ridiculous BLATHER...
I DON'T GIVE A RAT'S A$$ about your personal opinion, because you are a SMALL MINDED FOOL.
This is for YOU, Napoleon...
hehehe LMAO!!!
Short people got no reason
Short people got no reason
Short people got no reason
To live
They got little hands
Little eyes
They walk around
Tellin' great big lies
They got little noses
And tiny little teeth
They wear platform shoes
On their nasty little feet
Well, I don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
`Round here
Short people got nobody
Short people got nobody
Short people got nobody
To love
They got little baby legs
That stand so low
You got to pick em up
Just to say hello
They got little cars
That go beep, beep, beep
They got little voices
Goin' peep, peep, peep
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time
Well, I don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
Don't want no short people

I think short people are cute...actually...Ron Paul is short.
Just kidding about short people.
