2012...OK, here is a fun one to try to poke holes in...

My thought for the night...

There is getting to be quite a buzz about 2012. People are starting to point out that different civilizations on different continents possessed knowledge of astronomy that they couldn't have, for instance. Some allude to the possibility of a near-miss (or hit) from a distant planetiod, others speak of the apocalypse... the list goes on. I think that some things can be easier explained when put in perspective.

The Mayans, first off, did not prophecize the end of the earth at 2012. What they did say is that there would be cataclysmic change... the end of a cycle. So what did they know about cycles? For that, we'd have to go to the stories of the eldest of the People... the Delaware and the Hopi.

The Hopi have passed on through stories thier history since before they crossed the Bering Straits. This is not knowledge that you can find on the internet.

Modern scientists now point out that, by thier estimates, th Origional People crossed over the Bering Straits opproximately 14,000 years ago. They are now extending the date of the ~theory~ to 20,000 years or more. They also believe that North and South America was entirely deviod of humans before that.

They are wrong, of course. The Mohawk tribe, for instance, has counted winters the last 33,128 years. Many Indian tribes have histories of events that took place before the last Ice Age, or roughly 20,000 years ago. Where they were right is that a group of people did indeed make the journey... but there were already people here. But let's get back to the ones that did do the crossing.

One thing that modern scientists fail to bring up is the rational of WHY a Tribe would decide one day to up and walk across the Arctic to go live somewhere else. The answer lies in the Hopi tales... they were escaping. A band of roughly 2,000 peopple started the journey... less than 100 saw the other side. So what the heck motivated them to take that horrible journey? Fear, of course.

Again, if you throw ~modern~ science into the picture, they speculate that mankind has walked around on this earth in a recognizable form at least the last 40,000 years. What they fail to bring up for some reason is why mankind seemed to do nothing but lay around for 30,000 or so of those years. Then the last 3,000 or so, WHAM!. Civilization. SoOo.. what were we doing the 30,000 years before that? Conventional theories have no real answers.. they just say that we were uncivilized the whole time, then woke up one day. The Hopi beg to differ.

Thier explanation was quite simple... there was another advanced civilization back then. The Hopi speak of cycles that mankind goes through.. they attain a certain level of sophistication, then they wipe each other back into barbarianism. The problem that the Hopi faced the last time, however, was different... because that particualr civilization had harnessed as a weapon something that they called ~The Heart of the Sun.~ A weapon that would kill, well... everything. So they made the choice to make the crossing, in the hopes that some would survive. Thus, the Winter Trail... or the crossing.

The sad thing, they say, is that they did that magnificent journey all those years ago, only to face the same issues now. Once again, civilization has progressed to the point where they have harnessed this fierce weapon. Only this time, it is world-wide... there is nowhere to run to. Thus, the cycle is coming to a close once more.

So if you really want to wrap up a lot of the strange issues people have with older cultures having knowledge that they shouldn't have had, there is a really simple answer. They learned it from before.

Wrap your mind around THAT for the night... ;)

2012 Well, they say the end times. Mayan calender, Aboriginee end of "dream time", Hopi prophecies, Book of Revolutions, Astrology------all point to an occurance of profound changes. I have come to the conclusion we are ready to make an evolutionary shift and it is really the perception or interpretation that gives us all of the various scenerios. I personally believe we are in the midst of a transition that will change everything relating to our foundation of our present "reality" which I put in quotation marks because it is different to everyone. It will not be the end of the world as some religions teach, but be the end of time; if you think of it who created time and what does it mean? Time is of the clock and calender, not of nature and cycles or seasons. I just previewed my post, and I am going to be really lazy here, not having spellcheck and seeing I spelled Book of Revelations as Revolutions---well who knows, maybe it was a Freudian slip for a cosmic event.

for Devon_Saunders - Mon, 05/26/2008 - 20:54
You've guessed closer than you know, I think.

We think of cycles in a different way... the end of a cycle is a chance for the People to become what they began as.. connected. Most religions have versions of becoming less than what we were. A quick example is Christianity and Adam and Eve being booted out of Eden. In our lore there is a similar story... although it was not knowledge that got us kicked out, but the misuse of it.

As a cycle ends there is a chance for what you would call redemption. A chance to once again be connected as we should be.. with everything. Call that evolution if you want to, but we feel that it is getting back to where we were in the first place.. ;)

Look lower on this thread where people are wondering why the sudden thirst for knowledge. Because something is coming... your soul feels it. Your mind KNOWS this... but cannot rationalize it. So it looks for connections.

I am, as always, a believer but a skeptic. I have seen things that would shake your worldview that are perfectly acceptable in my belief system, but yet I cannot just tell you that these things will come to pass.

Time, as always, will tell.

Ahh, yes time will tell. It reminds me of the song time time time what will become of thee. I just read something riveting about the Hopi and I will find it for a future post. In the meantime, there is not going back. What people do not understand is that conciousness determines reality not the other way around and like the concept of the 13nth monkey, the few can tip the mass conciousness to the point of no return, and that has already taken place.

for see-thru (not verified) - Mon, 05/26/2008 - 22:30 BEAUTIFULLY said!
delete edit reply flag this Devon_Saunders - Mon, 05/26/2008 - 21:11 Nice to see you thinking right!

What is reality but our perception of it?

Therefore, if you change your perception of the world, are you not also changing reality?

In the bigger picture... is our conciousness totally ours, or all we all somehow connected?

I think you are correct about a tipping point.. the problem is... which way will we tip?

We've been here before in history, after all.

Live life to its fullest... with open arms, an open heart and most importantly, an open mind...

for see-thru (not verified) - Mon, 05/26/2008 - 22:43 oooh yummy. hee. hee. hee. great contemplations...

i believe that there are layers to reality/'all that is' (all that has, does, and will exist) and we can only perceive parts of it depending where we are at -right now - in our evolution.

are thoughts perception? i will contemplate that.

ramtha teaches consciousness and energy creates the nature of reality soooooo... what we think creates our reality.

the quantum field (used to be (is?) called the 'kingdom of heaven') (the grid, the matrix) everything (all potentials) exists... sooooo after we were all created out of the void, we all went are separate ways (journeys). but...we have access in our brain to 'download' anything we want from the quantum field. soooo, as i understand it now, my consciousness is my own and yours is your own. but... if i worked on it, i could read your mind (thoughts) so.. our consciousnesses (how do you make that a plural word?!) can talk to each other??? not sure if i'm mixing up terminology?? hmm.

oooh... the tipping point... well...perhaps a better question to ask would be -- which timeline are we going to be on? i'm focusing in my disciplines on being on the timeline where i am alive and well in 2013! lol! i don't care about any other timeline at this point.

for Devon_Saunders - Mon, 05/26/2008 - 22:55
I believe that everyone worships different versions of the same thing... pick the face of your God, for it is also mine.

Just a different face.. a different way of perceiving something that cannot fit into our heads.

I believe that it doesn't really matter in the end WHO you worship.. it is HOW.

There is an older way of thinking that says that you can accomplish anything you want to... but you have to trick your undermind to do it.. to tap into yourself. People of different religions do the same thing.. they just have different paths to get to the same place.

Because in the end, it boils down to if you believe in it.

Perception IS reality... because all reality is to anyone is thier perception of what is happening around them.

An easy secret to share, but quite another thing to practice.. ;)

Live life to its fullest... with open arms, an open heart and most importantly, an open mind...

If you can get your hands on old copies of Ramtha's two history books (I think they are just temporarily out of print)

"A Master's Reflection on the History of Humanity, Part I: Human Civilization, Origins and Evolution" (IT IS AMAZING!)

What Is RSE About? - Mission Statement

Ramtha's School of Enlightenment (RSE), the School of Ancient Wisdom, is a remarkable academy of the mind created by Ramtha the Enlightened One. Students from all over the world come to learn the tools and knowledge to tap into the power of the mind and explore our human potential. The curriculum taught at RSE is based on Ramtha's teachings and ranges from ancient wisdom to quantum physics. It contains knowledge and practical tools that are found nowhere else.

Who is Ramtha?

Ramtha was from Lemuria. As a Lemurian he was one of a highly spiritual people, and a participant in a pilgrimage that traveled through what is now Mexico into the Atlantic basin (then Atlantis), which was the home of an advanced, technologically-oriented civilization. The Lemurians were destitute people who were thought to be "soulless" by the Atlanteans (or "Atlatians" as Ramtha calls them), and subjected to the worst kinds of abuse. At the age of l4, he became a conqueror who freed his people from Atlantean tyranny. Ramtha became the greatest of all warriors, for his ignorance and hatred were overwhelming and he feared nothing.

Many joined his crusade, and over the course of 63 years, he conquered two-thirds of the then-known world. Traces of this march can be found in the remnants of ancient traditions: the great warrior was later to become "Rama" of the Hindu religion, the first god of the people of India. Late in his march, he was the recipient of a brutal assassination attempt. During his seven-year recovery process, he learned the mysteries of the unknown god and became enlightened. As a result of his enlightenment, he ascended in front of his people, promising his return.

Terminology: What is an ascended master

The term "ascended master" begs clarification as it means different things in different belief systems. An ascended master is one who learns to become one with the godhead. Through their experiences and/or study, they overcome the limitations of the human experience. Their bodies actually begin to vibrate at a high rate of speed, a vibrational frequency that is one of universal and unconditional love. Jesus is an example of an ascended master. There have been others, some well known and some known by very few, like Apollonius of Tyana. When a great being "ascends," he or she actually takes their body into a frequency and dimension that vibrates more rapidly than the human eye can see. They literally take their bodies with them. Ramtha became an ascended master late in his life. (See The Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East, by Baird Spalding, DeVorss & Co., for a more detailed description of the above.)

Regarding the Earth Changes -- I can't say which talk is best. From my understanding, it seems as if 2009 onward is going to be brutal. Regarding the ice-caps melting -- our scientists are WAY OFF on their prediction dates. If you want to know what we're up against I'd suggest starting with the cd's. There is no way I can summarize Ramtha! LOL!

```````````````````````````````````````
Many people dismiss the knowledge because it is 'channeled' but that is really sad.
Here's an awesome link to check out to see what a student is doing. He practiced a discipline and now he totally rocks!
How Did You Know?
Volume One
Written by
~Spin~
Prologue
Las Vegas - 2007
I was quietly sitting at the corner of a roulette
table, betting occasionally. But not the normal
type of bet you would see at a roulette table. The
bet I was making would look as if I was betting
the last ten dollars in the whole world, just hoping
to hit. This isn’t the case either. I have money, and
I have chips in front of me. So why only one
number? Because I knew what number was
coming. It was the number fourteen, clear as day.
“How?”, you ask? We’ll get to that later.
Anyways, the gentleman to the left of me was
betting standard. He spread out eighty dollars
worth of chips on a wide variety of spots, lines,
and corners. He also had a ten dollar bet on black,
and a fifteen dollar bet on 1st.12. The man’s
friend walked up quickly; a drink in his hand, a
smile on his face. He wanted to get in on the
action before the ball was spun, but he realized all
he had was a hundred dollar chip. The action was
about to begin, so he looked at the table and
without thinking placed his hundred dollar chip
on top of my ten dollar stack, which was on the
number fourteen.
The ball was spun. The two gentlemen became
quiet. The ball descended; bouncing every which
way, rolling in and out of various numbers,
slowing down to land (quite nicely) on number
fourteen. The gentleman to my left, even though
he had just lost one hundred five dollars, became
unhinged. Screaming and yelling at his friend he
asked “How did you know? How did you know?
How did you know?” His friend became puzzled.
He looked off into space and scratched his head
curiously. He wondered why he chose the number
fourteen and, still in shock, wondered if he really
was three thousand five hundred dollars richer.
With all the commotion, no one really noticed
I had made three hundred fifty dollars on that very
same roll, or that I had a bunch of chips in front of
me and still only bet one number. My lips curled
into a faint smile as I announced to the dealer that
I was cashing out.
In this book I will be sharing some of my
stories about my roulette experiences; what I am
doing, how it is done, and where I learned the
knowledge and techniques that helped me achieve
this. This is not a magic trick. It is the real deal.
The videos that you see on my website are all real.
I do actually know the number first, spin the ball
on a normal roulette wheel, and hit the number.
Can anyone do this? Yes, the man who won three
thousand five hundred dollars off number fourteen
did it. He was just unaware of what happened.
Anyone can do this, even you.
Well, I was traditionally Hopi raised, so I'm beginning to think I may have a certain obligation.
If you want a real mind-blower, track back to ancient Sumerian religions (9,000 BC). One of the older texts relates a battle between a good prince and an evil one. They had flying cities and what sounds a lot like fighter aircraft. The good prince eventually used the ~Spear of the Sun~ on the bad prince's floating city, which emitted a mushroom-shaped cloud and crashed. The text goes on to say that the bad prince was so bad that his ashes afterwards caused the people that lived by where the flying city crashed to lose thier hair and teeth and to wither away and die. (Radiation poisoning?)
Scientists in 1979 taking core samples in an older area of Iran ran into U-124 radiation traces. 18,000 years ago....lol
I have the book on it... but cannot find it on the internet.
ALSO MORE FOOD FOR THOUGHT (You see what I am saying Devon, on the format here) no subject area, and things are harder to see right off) Now, to the subject of Sumeria where would you guess the opening to that ancient portal would be? Why Iraq of course. There are going to be some interesting dots to connect now that we really have freedom of speach here. We need to get some more of our informed "out there" DPs here.
for see-thru (not verified) - Mon, 05/26/2008 - 22:51 what do you mean by an ancient portal? tell me more... what are you asking?
do you mean portals in time? to go there in your physical body?
if you just want to know info (watch events like tv) you can do that just with your mind -- you could remote view it. if you actually want your body to go with your body (lol!) that would be bilocation.
EVERYTHING has a coordinate. every time, place, every timeline (parallel reality)
