Hi everyone!
Haven't been around much and feeling 100% great about it, and guess what else! My house is really really clean now. No hairy stuff anywhere and all the femme products are nice and neat.
I'm pretty busy lately. In the evening I work as a convenience store clerk. Yep, I've got front seats to every freak, geek, drunk, mole, weirdo, pervert redneck, dopeheads in the world...plenty of funny stories are adding up about it, too.
My boss is a pitbull of a woman named Beverly...who I'd swear has a penis hanging somewhere on her body...and then there's "tattooed from head to toe redneck and loritab'd" Denise (Asst. Mamager) who says "Kathleen! I'ma drunk, can ah come sleep on your floor." omg
It's night work and only temporary, but talk about an experience. You couldn't buy this kinda entertainment anywhere.

Update!
My brother Eddie and I have been becoming very close over the last few weeks. He's getting me on at the Superdome in New Orleans to bartend the live games. LIVE!!! as in not on TV. One of the perks of working there is free admission to all the sporting events...which means I'll get to talk sports with cool people and make a few bucks doing so.

Very cool! Sounds like a significant improvement over the night-time job. How often do you get to work in a month?
We're already missing our two oldest. They are staying with grandma until the new baby is born, but that has meant more time to focus on the little ones. :-) Things are going pretty well here considering we just endured one of the hottest and driest summers in Texas history. It has been a stretch for this northern boy, but God has been very good to us in giving us endurance. I have actually rather enjoyed the past few months in spite of the heat.
I'm going to try to check in here more often. The site is in serious need of patching, so I'll see if I can get that done in the next few weeks.

Dunno how many days yet since the Superdome also includes the Sports Arena and other events that are booked there. I start tomorrow for a 12 week Beverage Management class. Nervous...nervous...nervous...
In the meantime...I've been devouring one book after another and currently reading "The No Asshole Rule" by Robert Sutton. While it has statistics based in actual studies...really its all about having common sense. Recommend it though. We're all guilty for doing things considered "a$$hole" ...Look on this forum and see for yourself. It can be applied everywhere.
